Angel F. Colon Aviles is a 2016 C/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Coamo, PR. Medium athletic build, has good present strength. 7.01 runner, has good speed and agility for a catcher, compact arm action throwing, has some arm strength and makes accurate throws, tends to stand up to throw with limited footwork, limited lower half use, 1.96 best pop time, receives the ball well. Left handed hitter, high leg lift trigger from an open stance, swings hard and has a short swing path, looks inside half and looks to pull the ball, less bat speed and balance on the outside half, strong enough to impact the ball hard on his pitch. Very good student.
