Kian Andersen is a 2018 1B with a 6-5 260 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Country Day. Large frame with present physicality in the build. Ran a 7.57 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman with a clean fielding ability and arm strength. Did a good job at getting his body into the throw with some carry on them. Slightly open stance at the plate with balance as well. Showed some present bat speed with a lot of strength in the swing. Smooth swing with intent to drive the baseball. Has a quick leg lift trigger that works best when he is on time and is able to extend out in front. The ball jumps off the barrel. Good student.
