Max Beck Berendsen is a 2021 OF/MIF with a 5-9 176 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Lassiter. Medium and athletic frame with some present strength on his frame. Ran a 7.12 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield with athleticism to his actions, stays through the baseball well, loose arm at take back up to a high 3/4 arm slot, releases out in front with solid arm strength, up to 83 mph from the outfield. Secondary middle infielder, moves well to the baseball, smoothness to his actions and quickness to the ball laterally, softness to his hands, has a feel for the position with similar arm strength as in the outfield, versatile defender. Right-handed hitter, sets up with a slightly open stance at the plate, shows a handle for the barrel with a simple stride into contact, shows present whip to his barrel through the hitting zone, line drive contact with some drive to either gap. Outstanding student.
