Tate Norman is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Snellville, GA who attends Brookwood. Medium build, lean and athletic frame, room to fill with added strength throughout. Ran a 7.14 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, smooth actions to the baseball, sure hands to gather with a quick release, clean arm action to a low 3/4 arm slot into throws, throws show some carry to the bag, topped out at 76 mph from the outfield. Also pitched, exclusively from the stretch, drop and drive delivery starting closed, varying arm angles from low side arm to submarine, fastball showed some running action as well as sink, could develop an off speed pitch for added effectiveness. Righthanded hitter, wide base, spread out and crouched stance, slightly closed stance, high hand set by ear with a high back elbow, stays on back side, bat wrap into load, rotational lower half actions, loose inside hand path, line drive barrel plane, showed ability to hit to all fields. Good student.
