Andrew Washington is a 2019 RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Sharpsburg, GA who attends Northgate HS. Medium middle infieler's build, square shoulders with a high waist. High leg lift delivery, stays tall in back with a good hip turn, full arm stroke in back, long and loose arm action, arm dependent delivery at present. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, was up to 94 earlier this year, mostly straight with occasional fade down in the zone. Developing feel for his breaking ball, gets under it at times for a slider effect. Some feel for his change up. Good raw arm strength with developing skills. Good student, verbal commitment to South Florida.
