Kyle Bailey is a 2023 C/2B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Blauvelt, NY who attends Iona Prep. Medium, physical build with present strength throughout his frame. Primary catcher, high, side saddle set up. Quick feet, getting out of the crouch well, gaining some ground to his target. Good receiver with a clean mid-line, glove-to-hand transfer. Accurate throws to second base, right on the bag. Up to 73 mph on his throws, recording a best pop time of 2.01-seconds. Right-handed hitter, sets up with a slightly open stance and a high-hand set. Gets into his strong lower half well with a hanging leg-lift-trigger. Present quickness and strength to his hands, producing some barrel whip. Ball jumps off his bat as he showcased gap-to-gap juice with strong feel for the barrel as he produced well-struck line-drives throughout his round of BP. Excellent student. Named to New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
