2017 Mid-Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Aidan McDaniel is a 2019 C/ with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from West Milford, NJ who attends West Milford. Large frame with slender, athletic build; highly projectable body overall. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.66 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly open stance with inverted front foot in load, rotational lower half mechanics through the zone, showed ability to work to all fields on line drive swing plane, consistent contact skills with developing jump off the barrel. Worked out behind the plate, narrow base sitting back into crouch, receives well, shows efficiency to footwork coming out, flashes accuracy, clocked up to 70 mph on throw. Very good student.
