Logan Austin is a 2020 RHP/MIF with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Salem, AL who attends Russell County. Big physical build, good present strength. Long and deep arm stroke in back coming to an over the top arm slot, lots of energy at release, tends to fall off on release. Fastball topped out at 93 mph early, worked mostly in the upper 80's, mostly straight. Flashed good depth to a 12/6 downer breaking ball. Split finger change up with some tumbling action. Key to development will toning down his delivery enough to enable him to control the strike zone. Showed his arm strength very well in defensive drills. Right handed hitter, uphill swing with a busy hand load, looking to lean and lift and flashes strength in the barrel. Verbal commitment to Auburn.
