Cole Dunn is a 2018 RHP/OF/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Middletown, DE who attends Middletown HS. Extra-large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength, has room to fill throughout body moving forward. Ran a 7.55 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded hitter, shows a full and loose arm action coming through the back to a three-quarters arm slot with solid extension out front. Incorporates lower half into release and lands on line with foot strike. Arm actions works well and lives down in the zone with fastball, topped out at 85 mph with consistent cut action. Holds velocity out of the stretch and projects for more with additional lower half. Repeats delivery nicely and can locate fastball to either side, big 12-6 curveball with depth, will continue to develop with maintained arm speed. Slider offers tight tilting life at 71 mph and maintains arm speed well on changeup at 74 mph. Developing actions in the outfield, fields ball close to body, shows accuracy to throws and ball comes out of hand cleanly. Righthanded hitter, loads hands back at start of swing and shows nice bat speed coming through the zone. Looks to elevate at point of contact and has the strength to do so, nice carry coming off when squared, upper body dominant swing. Good student.
