Karson Ligon is a 2021 RHP/IF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends Riverview. Nice athletic build with length and plenty of physical projection. High leg lift delivery, long and smooth arm action in back coming to a 3/4's arm slot, gets gathered well on his back side, well balanced delivery with solid tempo to grow from. Low 90's fastball, topped out at 94 mph, gets on top of his fastball early and consistently. Change up was his best secondary pitch, tunnels well with his fastball with good arm speed and nice fading action. Curveball developed more and more feel and bite through the outing. Three pitch starter arsenal with plenty of physical projection remaining. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Miami.
