Garrett Broadwater is a 2025 OF/LHP with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Carrollton, OH who attends Carrollton. Slender live bodied young build, lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a closed front shoulder load, has good sequence to his swing and some quickness to his hands, left center field approach that he executes well, consistent square contact, will need to get stronger before he can effectively turn the barrel but barrel accuracy is there. 7.06 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball with good direction and athletic actions, has good rhythm into his crow hop and release, arm works well and projects to keep improving with physical maturity, fundamentally sound all around. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a mid to low 3/4's arm slot, cross body release out front with a closed landing, creates some angle especially when he gets extended on release. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, change up was a nice pitch with full arm speed, also threw a soft sweeping breaking ball. Had a quick inning of strikes. Good athlete who will keep improving with every bit of strength he adds. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
