Pedro Luciano is a 2022 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Sprayberry. Big and strong athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow and upright start with a high back elbow load, rotational upper body swing, has good strength at contact when he's squared up, works gap to gap with some carry. 7.87 runner in the sixty, shows good athleticismm at first base and moves his feet well, pretty polished in his footwork and fundamentals, also plays some third base. Took a turn on the mound, stays tall on his backside with a short on line stride out front, high 3/4's arm slot with good extension out front, pretty low effort and repeatable mechanics. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with late running life at times, throws his fastball for strikes. Short slurve type breaking ball showed some feel and consistency, solid effort on the mound. Excellent student.
