Winston Wong is a 2019 RHP/OF, 1B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Vancouver, BC. Very young player with a lean, slender build and lots of room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.02 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher, worked from an upbeat delivery with a short arm action. Developing arm strength with his fastball that worked 70-72/73 mph. Should see a tick up in fastball velocity with additional strength and further lower half incorporation. Also moved in a curveball at 62 mph and a changeup at 62 mph as well to compliment his fastball. Also worked out in the outfield, charged well with athletic actions and a smooth transfer to the ball. Very accurate throws with arm strength up to 75 mph. At the plate, started even with an active hand load, high back elbow and a leg lift timing mechanism. Attacked ball with a good swing plane with lift with inconsistent timing. Good present bat speed for age that will continue to improve. Very good student.
