Michael Sharman is a 2021 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Etowah. Large frame with a wiry type build that is starting to fill out. Long limbs with some room to fill showing to be projectable. Ran a 7.37 second sixty yard dash. Primary Lefthanded Pitcher, flashing smooth, easy mechanics that were repeated. Long arm action delivering from a high three-quarter slot. Working downhill at release. Four pitch mix showing command of each. Ran his fastball up to 82 MPH as he went right at hitters with it. Curveball showing to be his best off-speed pitch as it showed 1-to7 shape. He also was not afraid to double it up as he went on to land it for strikes. He also mixed in a tight slider that he dropped on righthanded hitters hands and back foot. His changeup proved to be his least favorite but he still showed he could throw it for strikes while it was effective in getting outs. True pitchability here as he showed confidence and command. With a jump in velo, he could be an arm that is toward that elite level as he is already showing next level feel. Secondary Firstbaseman, moving well to and through the baseball showing some athleticism. Clean glove before working into that long, pitcher type arm action. Accurate with good feel for the position. Secondary Outfielder, flashed good feel for positioning and carried momentum into and through the baseball. Arm strength showing to be a plus as he threw it 84 MPH and was on target. Righthanded Hitter, great hands as he threw them at the baseball showing some bat speed. Looseness to cuts as he found the barrel consistently. Proved to also have some pop when he got extended. Can spray it to all fields. Projects as a legit two-way type guy with a slight advantage being on the mound. Outstanding Student.
