Xavier Botelho is a 2021 3B/RHP, 1B with a 5-10 220 lb. frame from Rehoboth, MA who attends Dighton-Rehoboth Rhs. Medium frame with a stocky build. Ran a 7.86 second sixty yard dash. Primary Thirdbaseman, keeps the baseball in front of him as he shows a bend at the waist gather. Arm strength starting to show as he threw it 82 mph across the diamond with accuracy around the bag. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with repeatable mechanics as he delivers from a three-quarter slot. Arm speed with a shorter arm action showing as he ran his fastball up to 80 mph with good life to it. Changeup flashing depth as he threw it with good command. Mixed in an 11-to-5 shaped breaking ball that got some swings and misses. Did a good job of changing eye levels and was around the zone with all three pitches. Right-Handed Hitter, starting from an open stance with little hand movement. Linear swing path as he looks to pull the baseball when possible. Generates some bat speed and can drive it for power when he gets extended. Good Student.
