Barrett Eldridge is a 2022 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Walton. Extra-Large frame with broad shoulders and strength throughout. Ran a 6.99 second sixty yard dash. Primary First Baseman, sitting back a bit on the baseball as he does a good job keeping it in front of him. Feel for the leather showing as he scooped it up both in games and during drills. Quick release and was accurate turning two. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, side step to a higher leg lift before working down the hill. Utilizes frame as he gets extended. Three-quarter slot as he released from a tough angle. Pounded the glove and proved to have feel for his three pitch mix. Fastball up to 85 mph with hard arm side run. Also mixed in a tumbling changeup and a curveball showing short vertical life in the mid-70's. Projection present on the mound going forward. Secondary Outfielder, works through the baseball in an athletic manner. Quick side arm release and was accurate with throws. Threw it 89 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting spread out with weight on back side. Works into a toe tap to stride as he creates separation. Longer path as he stays linear. Proved he could generate big bat speed as he had an exit velocity of 96 mph. Named to Southeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
