Tate Strickland is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Harrison. Lean young athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Works from a full hands over head delivery, high energy delivery, has fast hips and torques them hard to drive his arm speed. Fastball worked 95-97 mph in the first inning and settled at 93-94 in the second inning, mostly straight, will turn over a 2-seamer in the upper 80's at times. Threw more sliders than fastballs during this outing, slider is short and tight. Also throws a first change up that he kills the spin on well. Developing better feel and command for his fastball will be key to his development. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Tennessee.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
