Tyler McGuire is a 2023 C/1B, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Allatoona HS. Recorded a 7.98 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with a physical build and room to fill out. Primary catcher who gets rid of the ball quickly. Quick transfer and works through the center of the plate. Tight lower half and falls off to the glove side. Quick arm action with a best recorded pop time of 2.03 seconds. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Quickness to hands with a later trigger to start. Strong wrists with a slightly open stance. Works to all fields with a line drive swing plane. Looseness to the stroke with feel for the barrel. Works to both sides of the field nicely.
