Agyei Quinichett is a 2022 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends St. Pius X. Large frame with a strong and athletic build. Ran a 7.29 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, has a good combination of arm talent and physicality; rides the back side well in his drive down the mound, works on line in the back with the arm and has sone arm speed through a high three-quarter slot generating good life to the arm side on the fastball. Works around the mid-80s while touching better and has feel for a good slider that he lands well with some depth as he maintains his release on it well. Also worked out in the infield, has clean glove work and good strides to the ball while generating carry on his throws across. Righthanded hitter, sets up even in the lower half, shifts weight well into contact and uses quick hands and strength in the frame to generate hard contact to all parts of the field with even more power potential. Named to 2020 Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
