Will McClellan is a 2021 C/2B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Anderson, SC who attends Crescent HS. Recorded a 7.84 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with present strength well-proportioned throughout. Primary catcher with a very short arm stroke. Quick release and gets rid of the ball quickly. Solid transfers with good footwork too and had arm strength recorded up to 68 mph with a best pop time of 2.10 seconds. Righthanded hitter with a level swing plane and a lower hand set. Narrow base with a small step forward and looking to incorporate the lower half into the swing. Gets on plane nicely with flashes of power to the pull side and has an overall gap to gap approach. Upper half dominant swing. Good student.
