Adam Watkins is a 2021 RHP with a 6-5 255 lb. frame from Jefferson, MD who attends Brunswick. Extra big and strong build, pretty mature physically. High leg raise delivery, gets over his strong back side well, over the top arm slot with good angle on his pitches. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight with occasional running action. Soft 11/5 curveball, tends to slow his arm on release. Developing feel for a firm straight change up. Key to his future improvement with be continuing development of his secondary pitches. Good student.
