Edward Gonzalez is a 2020 SS/2B/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Yabucoa, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Nice athletic build with good present strength and room for more. 6.76 runner, has smooth athletic actions in the middle infield, hands work very well, soft and quick, charges the ball well and is light on his feet. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance, has nice lift in his swing and can turn the barrel on the ball, looks to pull the ball and does a good job creating leverage, power will keep improving as he gets stronger.
