Connor Walsh is a 2019 SS/2B/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Niceville, FL who attends Niceville HS. Long and lean athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Outstanding runner, 6.25 in the sixty. Has very good quickness in the middle infield, soft hands at the ball with a quick transfer and release on his throws, short arm stroke and gets on top of the ball well. Right handed hitter, hanging leg lift load, short controlled swing, has quick hands with bat speed and some power in the barrel, good lower half use in his swing. Reminds of LSU standout and potential 2019 first rounder Zach Watson. Good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi. Selected to play in the 2018 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
