Garett Corkhill is a 2022 LHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Alva, FL who attends Riverdale. Large frame with an already filling out build showing broad shoulders and strength in the lower half. Primary Left-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a higher leg lift. Loose arm action as he released from an extended three-quarter slot. Creates natural angle as it is hard to pick up out of hand. Slight crossfire in the delivery that helps create that tough angle. Fastball up to 83 mph with life out of hand. Mixed in a breaking ball with 1-to-7 movements that proved to be his out pitch. Solid two pitch mix as he sunk the fastball with authority and mixed in the breaking ball in a timely manner. Pitchability showing on the mound and projects here going forward. Great Student.
