Jason Barrera is a 2022 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Mesquite, TX who attends Sunnyvale HS. Recorded a 7.97 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with room to fill out and add strength. Primary third baseman with deliberate actions to either side. Clean release and arm stroke with some range to either side. Arm strength recorded up to 75 mph across with accuracy, sure hands, and feel for the left side of the infield. Secondary righthanded pitcher who topped out at 71 mph on the mound with a softer curveball as well. Righthanded hitter with a middle of the field approach. Rocks into the load with an even, wide base. Line drive swing plane and approach. Can cover the plate and looks to work to all fields.
