Jorge Gil is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Springs. Recorded a 7.58 second 60-yard dash time. Primary third baseman with a big frame and solid build. Corner actions and footwork moving around working through the ball. Hands work out front with clean funnel and mid-body exchange. Throws across the diamond at 81 mph. Footwork transferred to both corners with accurate throws on the turn and feel around the first base bag. Left-handed hitter with a slightly open front side and wide base. Simple approach and swing with preset hands and short stride. Strength out front with pull side impact. Excellent student. Named to the WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
