Cody Funk is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Union Grove. Medium and lean frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 6.87 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield with good drive through the baseball post gather, fields the baseball with a smooth and quick release, arm action is loose and produces arm strength up to 86 mph, great feet and range that play well at any outfield position. Right-handed hitter, sets up in the box with a spread out stance and a high hand set, compact swing with some hand quickness to the baseball, shifts some into contact but could utilize his lower half more into his swing, later load with an oppo appraoch. Great student.
