Brandyn Durand is a 2022 C/OF with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Somerset, MA who attends Bishop Hendricken. Shows good speed and athleticism, running a 6.74-second sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a strong and athletic frame, receiving deep and getting tall out of the crouch. Has developing quickness to the footwork, showcasing accurate arm strength up to 82 mph. Recorded a 1.98 pop time. Also worked out in the outfield, fielding with two hands out front and making throws with developing accuracy to bases at 85 mph. Right-handed hitter that starts from an even stance, with a high hand set and strength at the point of contact. Swings with intent to impact the ball, showcasing some raw power with some quickness to the hands. Good student. Verbal commitment to Kentucky.
