2022 National Academic Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Connor Furstenberg is a 2023 C/3B, MIF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Cornelius, NC who attends Christ The King. Connor shows tremendous skill behind the dish. A little bit of a straddled setup, he receives the baseball well. The transfer is good with quick hands, good ground gained on drive to target. Connor has a wide base at the plate while hitting. Good hands and bat path to ball allows him to make consistent hard contact. He showed good ability to hit to all fields with best impact coming to the pull side. Showed above average speed for a catcher with a 6.86 second 60 yard dash. A lot to like here and should be an asset to any program at the next level. Connor was name to the 2022 National Academic Showcase Top Team List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
