2021 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 22)
Tyler Triche is a 2022 3B/MIF with a 6-1 188 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends North Forsyth. Large frame with an athletic build showing broad shoulders and plenty of muscle throughout. Ran a 6.71 second sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman, sitting back on the baseball a touch as he makes sure to keep the play in front of him. Clean gather out front with feel for the leather present. Works cleanly through and release with intent. Threw it on a line at 94 mph during drills with accuracy. Big arm strength and feel for the position showing. Secondary Outfielder, showing off the speed as he covered some ground while working into the baseball with fluid actions. Clean gather to the side and carries weight well into throws. Accurate as he threw it 91 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting spread out with high hands behind the ear. Strides out before working into a linear cut. Strength in the hands present as he peppered the middle of the field with line drives. Showed off the power later in the round as he drove one over the fence to the pull-side. Took a professional round and impressed in a big way. Outstanding Student. Verbal commit to Georgia Southern. Named to WWBA Workout Top Prospect List.
