Tyler Shelnut is a 2020 SS/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Lake City, FL who attends Fort White. Slender long build with broad shoulders to add strength and bulk. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a small leg lift load, gets his hips loaded well, long pull oriented swing, line drive swing path. 6.91 runner, stays low behind the ball with soft hands out front, compact arm action and a quick release, fundamentally strong player on defense who will make the routine play routinely. Very good student, verbal commitment to Florida.
