Grant Williams is a 2023 OF/RHP, MIF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Prattville, AL who attends Prattville. Ran a 7.71 second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder fields the ball out front with two hands as he deliberately and accurately throws the ball with a short arm action at a recorded 73 mph to the bases. Secondary right-handed pitcher moves with a full wind up and a short sidestep into a chest high pausing leg lift while remaining well-balanced over the back side. Williams’ fastball has sinking action and is topping 72 mph out of a three-quarter arm slot as he is developing the release point for the breaking ball. The right-hander hitter steps to the plate with a narrow base, low handset, and creates good leverage with a loose wrist. He works the ball up the middle with good barrel control. Tremendous student.
