Eason Pipkin is a 2024 RHP/IF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Monroeville, AL who attends Excel. A primary pitcher with a large, stocky frame. Shows a unique delivery; starts in-line with sidestep to get to balance, hands at belly to long arm path slightly offline, long with the glove side, when he stays online until foot strike it’s pretty good. He crosse-fires causing him to spin off the ball. Command comes and goes with the fastball. Used his curveball sparingly. Fastballs has arm side life and induced soft contact. Curveball comes out above the fingers and usually stays on the arm side. Offensively sets up in an open stance. All pull approach in his BP round. Has a swing path down to the ball creating leverage and back spin. Defensively profiles at third base and uses proper foot/glove technique on approach to the ball. Demonstrated he has the arm strength and zip to make all the required throws across the diamond. Clocked a 7.7 60-yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
