Will Austin is a 2020 2B/RHP, C, UT with a 5-5 125 lb. frame from Mebane, NC who attends Eastern Alamance High School. Young player, small frame, skinny build, room to project and to fill. Primary infielder, two handed fielder, developing arm strength, fields centered, decent range. On the mound, online delivery, short arm circle, high three-quarter arm slot, repeatable delivery, topped out at 69 mph with fastball. Fields position well, fills the strike zone, some arm speed, ground ball pitcher, fastball has some cutting life to it, advanced feel for release point and mechanics. 11/5 movement to curveball, flashed depth to the pitch. Behind the plate, side saddle, decent release, some arm speed. Offensively, big hand load, wide base, high hand set, high back elbow, up the middle approach, linear swing path, gets on plane. Hit the ball to all fields, line drive swing path.
