Dalton Cross is a 2007 1B/3B/OF with a 5'10'', 180 lb. frame from Palmetto FL, who attends Saint Stephens HS. He has an athletic build with good present strength. Cross hits out of a spread, squat stance with some forward lean in his body. He shows quick hands in his swing but this approach doesn't give him much chance to get his body involved in his swing or get extented out through the ball. Cross did a good job of staying behind the ball and driving it hard to the opposite field. Defensively, Cross had good hands and balance at the ball but his arm strength will limit him to first base at the next level. He's a 7.33 runner in the 60. Cross is also a good student.
