Riley Eikhoff is a 2020 RHP/MIF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Bristow, VA who attends Patriot. Medium square shouldered athletic build with room to get stronger. High leg lift delivery with big gather on his back side, 3/4's arm slot, works exclusively from the stretch, tends to land open with his front side. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, stays on top of his fastball well, works well to both sides of the plate. Nice slider with tight spin and bite, good power to it, potential swing and miss pitch. Good chance to keep getting better as he adds strength. Right handed hitter, pretty simple swing approach, short to the ball and makes contact out front, has some quickness to his hands, has barrel skills. 6.97 runner, plays both infield and outfield, shows his arm strength well at both positions and makes clean and accurate throws. Good student.
