Max Stewart is a 2022 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Vestavia Hills. Long athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.28 runner in the sixty. Has nice actions in the middle infield on defense, rounds the ball well and has a quick glove to hand exchange, can throw from multiple arm slots with a quick and easy release and some carry on his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a good lower half shift into contact, will cast his hands out early at times, best contact was when he stayed back and kept his swing short and direct, projects as a hitter with additional strength. Also pitched, slow to fast delivery with a long wrapped arm action in back. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, change up was his best pitch this outing and he had confidence in it, also spun a few curveballs. Defense in the middle infield is his best tool/skill at present. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
