Alton Davis is a 2022 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-5 185 lb. frame from Hueytown, AL who attends Hueytown HS. Recorded a 6.79 second 60-yard dash time. Long frame with very broad shoulders and lots of room to project physically. Primary left-handed pitcher with plus arm speed and a compact arm stroke. Crossfire landing leg which creates a ton of deception. Three-quarters slot with very good angle. Slider is softer in terms of velocity but has tilt with short bite to it. Obvious upside given components. Arm strength plays from the outfield with throws up to 94 mph. Left-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Upper half dominant at times with a longer stroke. Has some power to pull when on time and out in front. Great student. Verbal commitment to Alabama.
