Sam Meidenbauer is a 2022 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Waukesha, WI who attends Waukesha West. Recorded a 7.02 in the 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman funnels the ball out front with a clean exchange, a three-quarter arm slot, a good turn, and a strong arm accurately throwing the ball at 82 mph. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with a spread, slightly crouched stance and a simple leg lift trigger as he rotates his lower half with a clean path to contact. Meidenbauer has good barrel control and bat speed working the ball pull side as he is developing backspin on the ball. Excellent student.
