Chase Niemeyer is a 2025 C/MIF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Marion, IL who attends Marion. Primary catcher with a medium frame and developing build that recorded a 7.76 second 60-yard dash time. Square and upright stance behind the plate with developing feel for the position. Two-hand receiver with throws up to 69 mph while working through the ball and gaining ground for a 2.21 pop time. Right-handed hitter with a narrow stance and high back elbow slot. Short stride into contact with flat barrel path through the zone. Middle field approach with ability to control the barrel to all fields with increasing impact as he matures into frame. Excellent student.
