Ryan Gollon is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Woolwich, NJ who attends Kingsway Reg. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout and physically develop moving forward. Runs well, posted a 6.82 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch, simple leg lift at start and does a nice job of working downhill while getting to a three-quarters release. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, heavy life through the zone and filled it up, repeatable operation and release. Changeup is best secondary offering at present, low spin with late fading life up to 73 mph; mixed both a slider and curveball in the upper-60s, will continue to refine a consistent release and feel for them. Fields the ball out front in the outfield, deeper funnel but remains on line and accurate with throws, shows present arm strength and works through the ball well with momentum and nice carry. Left-handed hitter, begins with an even and balanced stroke with a high hand set, occasionally drifts to front side early with weight shift. Compact stroke through the zone, works on a linear path and shows present bat speed, has ability to impact to pull side when on time. Nice tools to project upon moving forward in all facets of game. Very good student. Named to Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect List.
