Owen Keim is a 2021 RHP/UT with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Herndon, PA who attends Line Mountain HS. Recorded a 7.49 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame with room to fill out and broad shoulders. Primary righthanded pitcher with a simple, easy operation. Short rocker step to the balance point with a long and loose arm stroke with some effort at release. Three-quarters slot and gets good riding life on the fastball that topped out at 82 mph. Breaking ball shows 11/5 shape and the changeup comes from similar arm speed with deception. Attacks hitters and is not afraid to work up in the zone. Arm strength plays from secondary position of the infield. Righthanded hitter with a short stroke, narrow base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Direct path to contact with strength in his wrists. Showed some gap to gap juice on a line drive plane. Heavy barrel head and portends power upside. Great student.
