2018 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Nick Morgan is a 2021 SS/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Oakton, VA who attends Oakton HS. Athletic frame with present strength and athletic build. Ran a 7.40 sixty. Used an out front funnel along with very athletic footwork and smooth hands. Looked very smooth and confident during infield workouts. Showed impressive arm strength topping out at 89 miles per hour with plenty of room to add velocity. Also showed good accuracy across the diamond. Right handed hitter. Uses a upright stance with high hand and back elbow set up. Employs a short compact no stride rotational pull side approach, Showed ability to lift the ball with some pop to pull side. Showed ability to go back up the middle at the plate in games. Showed very well in the infield during games as well. Great student.
