Kevin Figueredo is a 2020 1B/OF/LHP with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter. Big and strong athletic build. 7.56 runner, has athleticism at first base and moves well laterally, light on his feet with very good arm strength on his throws. Also solid in the outfield with plus fundamental actions and a strong and accurate arm and will be an asset defensively at both positions. Switch-hitter, has a different approach from both side but present bat speed and tools as well. Left handed swing is more power oriented with more pull oriented lift, right handed swing is short and hand driven quick with a higher contact approach. Also pitched, high leg raise delivery and a high 3/4's arm slot, long and loose arm action, drop and drive mechanics down the mound. Fastball topped out at 86 mph with plenty of running action, has picked up 5 mph in the past few months. Nice curveball with sweeping shape and sharp biting action, used the curveball effectively to back door right handed hitters. Very versatile athlete who can do lots of different things well on the field. Good student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.
