Andrew Bourque is a 2018 C/1B, 3B with a 5-11 225 lb. frame from Vero Beach, FL who attends John Carroll Catholic. Large frame with strong, physical present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.09 seconds. Sets up to hit from even-based stance with slight crouch to set, drifty leg lift trigger, wraps bat behind head in hand load, shows line drive swing plane with solid bat speed and barrel smoothness, did a good job working back through the middle consistently. Worked out behind the plate, side saddle set with good flex, receives cleanly with good hands, transfers well and showed solid footwork through release. Popped as low as 2.10 seconds; threw 71 mph. Good student.
