Amante Mancini is a 2019 LHP/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Pompano Beach, FL who attends Cardinal Gibbons High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and projectable build with room to fill throughout. Primary lefthanded pitcher, simple side step into delivery, slight tilt at top with leg lift up to belt, short and on line stride down the mound. Short arm stroke through the back working to an extended three-quarters arm slot, gets higher at times. Gets tall on backside, shows tempo to delivery, front side occasionally goes early. Fastball topped out at 76 mph, worked down well and showed occasional cut, works to arm side well and flashes running life at times. Low effort release, nice feel for changeup with fading life down in zone at 71 mph. Induced soft contact, flashed breaking ball at 69 mph. Very good student.
