Nicolas Kythreotis is a 2020 3B/RHP/MIF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends St. John Neumann HS. Tall and angular young build, projects well physically. Switch-hitter, similar approach from both sides, hits from a spread straight stance with a still hand start and limited weight shift into contact, stays balanced well, has some hand quickness and looks to swing hard and impact the ball, line drive swing plane, can improve hitting rhythm and lower half use. 7.39 runner, has a low arm slot throwing in the infield with developing arm strength. Arm worked better on the mound from a similar low 3/4's slot, upper half delivery with a long and loose arm circle and extended release. Gets good running life on a fastball up to 80 mph. Slurve type breaking ball with sweeping 10/4 shape, throws strikes with both pitches. Good student.
