Matt Leary is a 2020 OF/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Eustis, FL who attends Eustis HS. Recorded a 7.77 second 60-yard dash time. High waisted, medium frame with lots of room to fill. Primary outfielder with aggressive actions and a compact arm stroke. Online release and gets on top of throws. Some effort to release but has good accuracy to the plate. Secondary infielder with a shorter arm stroke and deliberate actions. Graded out best from the outfield. Righthanded hitter with quick hands and swings the bat hard. Good bat speed and hands work really well. Line drive swing plane and has some impact when hands are fully extended. Path projects for some power with additional loft. Good student.
