JP Capra is a 2020 RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from St. Petersburg, FL who attends Northeast HS. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. High leg raise delivery with a long and loose arm action in back, high 3/4's arm slot, gets good lower half use driving down the mound. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with nice downhill angle to the bottom of the zone, spots his fastball consistently and effectively. Excellent change up with ideal arm speed and nice sinking action at the plate. Worked quickly and filled up the zone with two quality pitches. Did not observe a breaking ball.
