Jonathan Watson is a 2019 OF/UT with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Williamsburg, KY who attends Whitley County HS. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.13 seconds. Sets up to hit from narrow, even-based stand with higher hand set, hands cocked back into load, inside-out swing path with minimal lower half incorporation. Shows quickness to hands, approach is the opposite way/up the middle on a line. Shows moderate balance through swing. Worked out in the outfield; shows twitch to footwork moving in on the ball, fields cleanly and does a good job working through it, very long arm stroke through the back with some looseness, throws back to the infield topped at 80 mph. Very good student.
